Warwick hails from Sydney. Before entering full time paid ministry he was a high school teacher. He was at Moore College from 1987 to 1991 and ministered in Wollongong during 1992-1993. From the beginning of 1994 Warwick, his wife Caroline and children moved to work at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Adelaide where they focused on ministry to University Students. Warwick has been serving at Bondi since October 2008. Warwick's passions are evangelism, his family and motorcycling which he wishes he had more time to indulge. He is keen that everyone know that Port Adelaide are the premier AFL side in the competition.
Matt grew up on the north side of Sydney harbour. He studied Econometrics at UNSW (a time when he never had his golf handicap so low). He has always worked in organisations that the media love to bash – Commonwealth Bank, Shell (in London) and now the Anglican Church. During 1999-2000 Matt and his wife Joanne explored North America, lived in London and travelled throughout Europe. Their three children bring them great joy. Matt and Jo love having people visit for meals, for a play or just to drop in. Having grown up in the church, Matt has a great desire for God’s people, to see them grow in the knowledge and love of their Saviour, and to equip them for serving their Lord. Seeing Liverpool win is nice, hearing people grow in Jesus is infinitely greater, and glorifying God is what it’s all about.
Gerard has lived in Sydney from the age of nine and thinks it is the most beautiful city in the world. He’s in his third year of study at Moore College and, although uncertain of what he and his family will do after college, plans to use his gifts to serve our great God and saviour, Jesus Christ. Gerard enjoys tinkering with computers, following the NBA and hanging out with his two gorgeous girls (Briar his wife and Abigail his daughter). He is passionate about God’s amazing grace and loves to share the good news of Jesus with people.
Nathan grew up on Sydney’s northern outskirts, getting very involved in outdoor adventure activities before realising that he could get paid to go abseiling and canoeing working in Christian Camping ministry. He is now in his fourth and final year at Moore College and God willing will be working in full time ministry with an Anglican Church somewhere in Sydney next year. When family life (his wife Jess and a young son Rhys) gives him a chance, he loves to get out into the garden but has recently decided that growing things in pots is more time efficient and so has taken up the art of Bonsai. Nathan loves being challenged and in turn challenging others as they grow in their knowledge of the word of God and His grace that has changed lives.
Originally from South Australia Simon moved to Sydney for theological training at Moore College. He is currently in his second year (2011). He is married to Tania and they have a son. Previously he worked as a Mechanical engineer gaining experience in Belgium, and Japan. Simon's desire is that people know God truly as Father, Son and Spirit. And then to see the massive implications (the good news!) of this for us as we fumble around in a broken world.
It's a common enough question: Do I need...
