Our Gospel Partners

The good news of life in Jesus Christ is not just for the people of Bondi, but is for the whole world. Therefore at Bondi Anglican Churches we support the spread of God's kingdom throughout the world through partnerships with other Christian organisations. God has blessed us materially here in the Eastern Suburbs, and so we share those resources with our partners who are often serving in areas were the basic physical needs of life are not always being met. Yet our partnerships are more - we pray regularly for our partners, for we know that regardless of the finances we give to an organisation, Christian growth only comes from the work of God's Spirit in people's hearts. We also seek to support our partners in whatever ways we can.

Anglicare

ANGLICARE is the urban mission and community care arm of the Sydney Anglican Church. As one of Australia’s largest Christian care organisations, ANGLICARE reaches out to thousands of people in need every year throughout Sydney, Blue Mountains, Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions, by doing good works that grow communities and address emotional, social and physical needs.

BCA - The Chapman's serving in Darwin

The move for Bruce and Jodie, and their kids Matthew, Felicity, Laura and Olivier, from Eastwood in Sydney to the heat of Darwin was quite a change. Bruce works as the Northern Territory’s Youth Minister – a position which includes: growing the ministry at St Peter’s Nightcliff and using it as a model for youth ministry around the territory; encouraging youth in the five Anglican churches in Darwin to be connected to one another; supporting youth ministry in churches outside of Darwin; and encouraging indigenous Christians to be the main teachers of young Aboriginal people.

CMS – The Turners serving in Tanzania

The Turners are serving in the Mara Diocese, in the north of Tanzania on the Eastern side of Lake Victoria. Glen works as a teacher at Mara Anglican Primary School (MAPS) and Dominique seeks opportunities to use her social work skills with children and families in the region as she cares for their baby son Judah.

TEAR – Cambodian Hope Organisation

The Cambodian Hope Organisation (CHO) is a Christian NGO based in Poipet, Cambodia. Our vision is to see a network of strong, hope-filled communities, where adequate mental, physical, and spiritual needs are met. We believe this to be in keeping with Matthew 22:v39, where Jesus commands us to "love our neighbors as ourselves".
