Ministry Team Leader
Martin has been the Rector of Bondi Anglican since 2014 and oversaw the amalgamation with Waverley Parish in 2018.
Martin wants to see people thrive. He is convinced that happens best as we comprehend and live out God's grace, mercy and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. He loves seeing others come to follow Jesus, and joining the church.
Before his ministry here, he did church planting. Firstly planting Orange Evangelical Church (1995-2003), and then planting Rouse Hill Anglican Church (2004-2012).
He is married to Cathy, and they have three adult children. He looks forward to the ongoing growth and increasingly positive impact of Bondi Anglican church in the coming years.
Blake has been serving at Bondi since 2015 and leads a team which has successfully planted a new church at our beach location. Check out the page here.
Blake and his wife Sarah have three little ones: Herb, Adelaide and Juniper. The Hattons are known to frequent Papas Patisserie and numerous hot chip vendors in Bondi. Blake loves surf life saving, feeding people and looking after his lawn and his fish.
Helping people find how all of life is connected with the Lord Jesus is Blake's passion.
Kirby joined the staff team in July 2019. She works in our Parish office helping make sure we are running effectively.
Kirby is a follower of Jesus, a wife, and mum of three young boys. She likes chai lattes, painting, drawing, and team sports. When not in the office, Kirby can often be found outdoors with her kids, building marble runs, or folding washing. She is passionate about encouraging other mums with young kids, and inspiring people to appreciate God's creation through her art.
